Arriving home after Josh's birthday dinner last night, and finding it to early to go to bed I decided to start sewing block number one of Leanne Beasley's Butterfly garden quilt. This is another one of the many patterns I have had for a number of years. This being the year I finish everything in the cupboard in my craft room I decided to make a start. The pattern is full of applique and embroidery, something I love to do when it is as cold as we are having at the moment. Being wrapped in a quilt and stitching in front of the television on a winters night is my ideal night now I'm getting older.
